Park roles Snake Eyes

Word out of IESB has it that casting for the upcoming Stephen Sommers film adaptation of GI Joe just got a lot awesomer. Adding to the hotness that is Sienna Miller as The Baroness, IESB reports that Ray Park has just been cast as Snake Eyes. Who's Ray Park? If you don't know that, you should probably up your geek quotient just a bit and then head back to this site. Park is the insane badass that made Darth Maul an insane badass before he was so inappropriately killed early (kind of like Boba Fett's lame death in Return of the Jedi...except in the books he survives the Sarlaac because he was wearing Mandalorian armor, but I digress). Anyways, Park as Snake Eyes will definitely at least make the action scenes in this movie worth watching. Ray Park cast as Snake Eyes
