MTV wonder's "who got next" with Marvel
Countless hearts across the world were broken yesterday when it was confirmed that EA is no longer working on Marvel games. Gone was the prospect of the Marvel MMORPG (which I still don't think will work anyway). Gone was the prospect of a possible successor to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (although EA doesn't have nearly the stable of recognizable characters that Capcom has). So who's going to step up and take over where EA left off?
MTV Multiplayer (MTV seems to be getting all the news today) has a list of who they think will be the next to partner with Marvel on the gaming front. The list includes the usual suspects:
- Tecmo
- Activision
- Sega
- Nintendo
- Square Enix
- Namco-Bandai
A decent "what if" read (ironically). Nothing really but speculation or anything, but interesting to say the least.
