R2-D2 beanie

Yesterday I wrote about an X-Wing sled mod in an annual sled art competition in Minnesota. Seeing as how its a sled, it can be quite cold out. So what better way to stay warm (and further complete the Death Star run) by having your own R2-D2 on board to help navigate? Carissa Knits has taken it upon herself to teach everyone how to make an awesome R2-D2 beanie. Now, this does require some aptitude with knitting, so if you don't know how find someone that could help. I read through the directions, and it doesn't seem that difficult to do, just a matter of doing it. And it actually looks pretty damn cool if you ask me. So get your creative swerve on and attempt it if you feel like it. At least your head will be warm. R2-D2 beanie
