The Silk Spectre talks to MTV Movies Blog

Its easy to forget amidst the glut (and I use that term affectionately) of upcoming comic book films the one film that really matters infinitely more than the others. Everyone knows that I'm ALL ABOUT The Dark Knight, and am excited to see Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. But the one comic movie that not many people are talking about is The Watchmen, and that could be because the film isn't due out until next year. But MTV News Blog took a moment out of their covering the Screen Actors Guild awards to talk to Carla Gugino, the lovely actor playing the Silk Spectre. She doesn't really get into too much about the movie itself, but promises that the opening sequence will be something to remember. "The title sequence of this movie is going to be extraordinary. We spent many weeks over the time of the shoot shooting it. That’s going to be a very, very special thing that wasn’t scripted, that will be really empowering.” So that's promising. She also talks about Zak Snyder's vision in relation to the movie, and how she plays both versions of the Silk Spectre, who of course has both young and old incarnations in the book.
