Favreau not signed to do Iron Man 2

In what is surely a non-issue that has me in no way worried at all, iFilm reports (via a Howard Stern interview) that Marvel has not yet signed Jon Favreau to do the sequel to Iron Man. “They haven’t offered me anything yet,” Favreau told Howard Stern. “They’re all talking - they want to do it, they even announced a date.” “They’re all signed for three but it doesn’t work that way. That all goes out the window when you make $100 million dollars,” said Favreau. “Because people want to have a good relationship with the people they are working with, and if they’re making that kind of money, it’s an understanding that they’re going to negotiate.” So everyone's signed for three films except for Favreau. I don't think Marvel would want anyone else to direct the sequel because that would ruin the continuity of the films (the feeling between X2 and X3 was vastly different than the feeling between Spider-man 2 and Spider-man 3). And I think its easy to idea with the statement that Favreau did a great job with Iron Man, so I really don't know why he wouldn't be back. He clearly knows and respects the source material, and has even got a storyline in plan for the sequel if its up to him (he wants to do the Demon in a Bottle storyline).
