Image Comics founders reunite at Wizard World Chicago
Well, if you weren't going to Wizard World Chicago, you should definitely be going now. According to Wizard Universe, six of the seven founding members of Image Comics will be there for a reunion of sorts.
Todd McFarlane, Marc Silvestri, Rob Liefield, Erik Larsen, Whilce Portacio and Jim Valentino will all be at Wizard World Chicago and will participate in a two-hour panel on June 28 from 2 PM-4 PM taking a look at the founding of Image Comics. The panel will be ticketed, and you'll be able to get tickets on a first-come, first serve basis starting at 10 AM on that Saturday.
I don't really think I have to give you a detailed description of each legend that will be there (plus the link below does a pretty good job), but I will say that if you're going to Wizard World Chicago and you don't make an effort to get a ticket to this panel, you really shouldn't be reading comics. Period.
