Eckhart on the return of Two-Face

I'm going to preface this with the requisite spoiler alert, but if you haven't seen The Dark Knight yet you either a.) don't have the money to see it or b.) are blind. What I'm saying is there's really no excuse for you to have not seen the film. So bear in mind that if you're the one person that hasn't seen the film that there are potential spoilers ahead. In an interview with Ain't It Cool News, Aaron Eckhart had some quite definitive answers on the return of Two-Face. The definitive answer? He's not returning. "No. I'm dead. I couldn't even get the words out of my mouth. "Hey, Chris, am I--?" "No. You're dead. You're dead." Well then. What about the possibility of bringing Two-Face back from the dead? "Well, it'd be easier than anything to bring him back, but... it's like Chris said on the tour. He wasn't thinking about the next movie when he made The Dark Knight. All the vegetables were in this stew. I think that this franchise has shown that it doesn't have to bring back characters. I mean, there's still Catwoman. I've heard Angelina Jolie really wants to do Catwoman; I think that's a fantastic idea. I'll be a happy audience member this time. And what's gone on with Heath and everything... I think Heath was the one that was going to come back. And since he can't... (Pauses) You know, Chris hasn't said that he's going to make another one." I guess that pretty much sums up that. I think most moviegoers were pretty confident that Two-Face was dead, but going on that whole "never saw the body" theory meant there was some possibility of him not being dead. But it looks like he's dead for sure. Let the rampant villain speculation begin for the inevitable third and final installment of Christopher Nolan's view of the character. And yeah, the third film hasn't been confirmed but come on. Aaron Eckhart on Two-Face
