Don Cheadle is a War Machine

We saw it happen in The Dark Knight with Maggie Gyllenhaal, and now its happening in Iron Man 2. Latest word out of The Hollywood Reporter is that Don Cheadle has been tapped to replace Terrence Howard as Jim Rhodes/War Machine in the highly anticipated blockbuster sequel. What's the reason for the change? Sources close to the situation indicate it was a falling out over...get this: money! Now Marvel went through this same spiel with Jon Favreau, in that apparently he wanted a lot more money than they were willing to give him. Eventually however, Marvel saw the error of their ways and paid him. But that doesn't seem to be the case with Howard, who clearly knew the sequel would make a lot more money than the first. And with his character playing a larger role in the film, why shouldn't he get paid more for it? Part of the awesomeness of the first film was the chemistry among the actors. No disrespect to Cheadle, as he's a phenomenal actor, but I thought that Howard nailed the role of Jim Rhodes. Hopefully Cheadle can keep up with Robert Downey, Jr., but then again, he did keep up with George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon et al. for three Ocean's movies, so maybe this could work.
