Captain America has a director

Captain America is a film that will upset quite a few individuals if its not done right. So its crucial that they get a director that can get the character right in addition to the story. According to Hollywood Reporter, Joe Johnston may be that man. Johnston has signed a deal to direct First Avenger: Captain America. Who is this guy? Well he's done a few films you may have heard of. He's directed Hidalgo, Jurassic Park III and The Rocketeer. Those were decent enough films, and hopefully he can handle working with one of the most iconic characters in pop culture. "This is a guy who designed the vehicles for 'Star Wars,' who storyboarded the convoy action sequence for 'Raiders of the Lost Ark,' " Feige said. "From 'Rocketeer' to 'October Sky' to 'The Wolfman,' you can look at pieces of his movies and see how they lead to this one." There's still no script, crew or anything else, but I'm sure that will all start coming together relatively soon. Stay tuned for more details. Joe Johnston to direct Captain America
