Savage Dragon a cop once again

Sometimes, its good to know powerful people. Take Savage Dragon for instance. During the election, he threw his support behind Barack Obama, a move that in retrospect seemed to be pretty intelligent. And now, Obama has returned the favor by assigning him to the Chicago Police Force after a twelve year absence. "Writing and drawing Savage Dragon as a cop after nearly twelve years feels good--it feels right," Larsen told the Tribune. "It's a homecoming of sorts and it's a joy to be back." On March 25, 2009, fans will be able to see Savage Dragon back in blue in Savage Dragon #145. And an exclusive comic strip at http://redeye.chicagotribune.com/red-111108-serranocolumn,0,6738591.column features none other than Obama himself congratulating Savage Dragon.
