Fallen Angel to meet Angel
Joss Whedon is a well known man for many things, one of those being Angel. Peter David is also a well known man for many things, one of those being Fallen Angel. The latter is coming to a close, but not without IDW leaving fans with a teaser image pairing Fallen Angel and Illyria (from Angel) together.
"We're still nailing down the fine points of having Illyria guest star," explained Peter David of his creator-owned series, which wraps with December's #33 but relaunches in April 2009. "We've turned in an outline to Fox. We're using a licensed character through the good graces of Joss Whedon, so naturally there's an approvals process."
Yeah, Fallen Angel could get pretty crazy.
