Yeah, times are tough. So tough that Wizard has been forced to cancel Wizard World Texas November 6-8, and is postponing Wizard World LA. Philadelphia (June 19-21) and Chicago (August 6-9) are still goes, which has got to be some kind of positive.
Disposable income is becoming more and more difficult to come by these days, so its really no surprise that conventions are slowly being canceled. The best you can do is try to hit up another convention that may be happening if you have the means to. There are quite a few that occur throughout the year, so you should be able to find at least one to replace the canceled.
