The Goon probably doesn't get nearly the amount of respect that he deserves. Eric Powell's character is actually really awesome and the comic has a certain humor twist to it that allows it to stand out among the other comics. Hopefully this mood will translate well to the CGI film. The CGI film that Ain't It Cool News happens to have the first images from.
The image shows The Goon in all his glory and really not else. But that's fine I guess, since what we really care about is the main character anyway. They've done a phenomenal job capturing his look on film, and that should make Goon fans the world over happy beyond belief.
