Watchmen: The End is Nigh game released

When Alan Moore first wrote Watchmen, I don't think he had any idea how mammoth the comic books would become. Granted, I'm sure he knew that with all the subtexts and messages he was including that the story would be deemed poignant and above standard comic fare. But to get to where it is now? Probably unfathomable. The advertising and merchandising blitz for the property has only picked up as of late because of the movie, and part of that tie-in is a video game called Watchmen: The End is Nigh. Which has just been released. Deadline Games produced the game that allows players to fill the shoes of Rorschach or Nite Owl II in the first of six episodes. The game is available on Xbox Live Arcade, PSN and Steam for $20. I'm not sure if this is for all six of the episodes, or if it will be $20 per (please Warner Brothers, don't be stupid here). Regardless, if you're looking for a side-scrolling beat 'em up with your favorite Watchmen characters then this may be for you. And to get you more psyched for the game, enjoy these shots.
