Too many Green Lanterns running around, not enough other colors. The upcoming Blackest Night is looking to remedy that however, and two teaser images have been released for the mammoth summer DC storyline. Above is zombie Superman, and after the jump is another old super friend in zombie form.
Aquaman is the super friend in question, and will apparently be pretty crucial to the events that unfold. The storyline will finalize the trilogy consisting of Green Lantern: Rebirth and Sinestro Corps War. Anti-Monitor returns with a black ring on his undead finger as a result of succumbing to the power of the Black Power Battery.
The series will kick off with Blackest Night #0 on Free Comic Book Dat in May, and will recap the events of the Sinestro Corps War and Rage of the Red Lanterns that led to Blackest Night, effectively bringing you up to speed to enjoy this mega-event.
The actual event is set to kick of July 15, which gives you plenty of time to read through the past series so you'll know whether Black Lanterns are the same as Green Lanterns (they're not).
