Free Comic Book Day 2009

Here's your friendly reminder. Free Comic Book Day is this Saturday. One of the best days in the year for comic book fans. The day has grown in popularity in the past few years which is great, and it really gives publishers a greater opportunity to get their works into your anxious hands. Some of the highlights? Well, Blackest Night #0 for one, the prequel to the massive storyline that DC is kicking off this summer. Attack of the Alterna Zombies is a pretty off-center comic that pits Abraham Lincoln and Jesus against the Alterna zombies. Other books include Love and Rockets Sampler, Owly and Friends and Wolverine: Origin of an X-Man. Obviously, there are tons of other books that will be given away for free. You can click on over to the website and check out what's available. Make sure you have an idea of what you're looking for, and realize that not everything will be available at every store.
