Joker to be playable in Batman: Arkham Asylum on PS3

Games often get console specific extras, adding further fuel to the completely idiotic console wars. The bonus that Rocksteady Studios is adding to Batman: Arkham Asylum for PS3 owners is nothing short of pure awesomeness. The Joker will be a playable character. The Joker will be available as free downnloadable content through the PSN. He will only be playable in the challenge maps in the game, so don't get your hopes of a separate story playthrough as the Clown Prince of Crime. No word if this is truly a PS3 exclusive...it may make its way to the Xbox 360. But I wouldn't be surprised if this is somehow tied into the fact that the DC Universe Online game will be PS3 exclusive. Full press release below.
