Robert Downey, Jr. on all things Iron Man 2

Beyond Jon Favreau's Twitter account, information on Iron Man 2 has been relatively scarce. I mean, sure we got to see the half-scale Mark 3 maquette from Legacy Effects in his office (see above), but other than that it's really just been tweets about the training and general shooting. Thankfully, we have Robert Downey Jr. being a little more forthcoming when talking to Entertainment Tonight. "The film is almost entirely about character, and yet we still have twice as much action as we did last time, so it's going to be nuts. "Essentially 'Iron Man 2' is about looking behind the armor, or the armature, of a superhero. It's one thing to say you're Iron Man, it's another thing to be fully ready to do that." I really like to hear it when an actor says the film is going to be "nuts." That really bodes well for it. I'm intrigued to see how the sequel is going to be this cerebral take on the character with twice the action. Granted, the original didn't really have that much in the way of action to begin with so the bar is kind of low. He also mentions that his Sherlock Holmes physique has been replaced with "Beefcake Charlie status" as he so eloqeuntly put it. The same goes for Scarlett Johansson, who Downey, Jr. says is "getting lean and mean." Mmm. Lean and mean Scarlett Johansson. Anyone wonder if Ryan Reynolds dressed as Deadpool fights with Johansson dressed as Black Widow in their marital bliss? Robert Downey, Jr. on all things Iron Man 2
