Top Cow on Berserker #1

Mark you calendars for June 24th, as that is the day you can officially go berserk. Top Cow has just announced that Berserker #1 would be available for purchase on that date. The book represents the first release from the partnership of Top Cow and DiVide Pictures, which is run by Milo Ventimiglia. "Berkserker's a story I've wanted to tell for a long time and I'm insanely thrilled to have Top Cow and DiVide give it life,” commented writer Loverd, “Jeremy, Dale, and Dave blow me away every time new art comes in. It's like having your demented baby gouge your eyes with every new page. I've finally found people who are more unassumingly twisted than I am - ahem, Jeremy." The story focuses on the Norse idea of a "berserker," or a soldier so enraged that during the heat of battle they essentially destroy everything and everyone in their path. Picture that happening in a modern day grocery store. Crazy I know. You can check out Omnicomic's interview with Ron Rick Loverd and Jeremy Haun from NY Comic Con to get a little more insight into the comic. Full press release below.
