Crossovers are fun. They're even more fun when the crossover crosses over (get it?) different universes. It's kind of inevitable, as talent leaves one publisher to work for another that there are always going to be characters and talent that just go together. Take for instance the latest crossover from the triumvarate that is Marvel, Top Cow and Image, Fusion #1. Fusion #1 is a Top Cow/Image/Marvel crossover that features the "meeting" if you will of Cyberforce, Ripclaw, the Mighty Avengers and the Thunderbolts (the latter two groups being collectively known as the Initiative enforcers). How did this meeting come about? Ripclaw starts tearing through a small northeast town. Good stuff. Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning write the first issue of what will be a three-part series, while artist Tyler Kirkham brings you tons of colors and outlines. And, even though the book features Marvel it falls under the Top Cow "Let Us Win You Over" banner, so you can get it for the always appealing price of $2.99.
