While Omnicomic will be at Wizard World Philly this weekend, there's another show going on a little further south. Heroes Convention 2009 is taking place this weekend in Charlotte, NC, and while the comic book industry talent will be split between the two sites, that doesn't mean Heroes Con won't have some big names.
Guests include Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Frank Cho, Chris Claremont and Matt Fraction among others. The show is at the Charlotte Convention Center this weekend at the following hours:
Friday, June 19, 2009 : 11.00 am - 7.00 pm
Saturday, June 20, 2009 : 10.00 am - 6.00 pm
Sunday, June 21, 2009 : 11.00 am - 6.00 pm
Tickets are reasonably priced at 1-day Pass: $15 per person for a one-day pass, and $30 per person for a three-day pass. Kids under 12 get in free.
If you're in the Charlotte area then by all means hit the show up for some awesome talent and a surefire good time.
