Get blitzed with Mark Waid at Comic Con

Comic book writers are just like you and me; they like a good drink just like the next guy or gal. Being able to drink with them is something usually reserved for other industry talent. Mark Waid has decided that such an event should not be left to only the comic book elite and is launching the 4th annual Drink Up party. Here's the deal. Comic Con attendees can make their way to the Hyatt Grand Lobby Bar on Thursday, July 23r from 9 PM to whenever. The whole point of a "drink up" is like a "meet up," except with copious amounts of drinking. Boom! Studios will have tons or representation there as well, including Mark Waid, Ross Richie, Andrew Cosby, Matt Gagnon, Chip Mosher, Ian Brill and the rest of the BOOM! Crew with various BOOM! creators in attendance for a night of relaxed fun. And you can do shots with Waid to find out if he truly is evil. Check out the press release after the jump.
