Ninja Gaiden Black comes to mind), ninjas are really the bees' knees. That awesomeness does have an escalation factor however, because when a "ninja" becomes a "cowboy ninja viking" you have an entirely different beast altogether.
Image Comics' newest hero is just that, bring a smile to Image VP Jim Valentino.
"COWBOY NINJA VIKING is everything I look for in a series to bring to Image," Image Vice-President Jim Valentino said. "There is absolutely nothing else on the stands that looks or reads remotely like COWBOY NINJA VIKING, especially given its Golden Age dimensions and format. I certainly can’t think of any other titles featuring schizophrenic heroes combating evil with no less than three personalities.”
The birth child of Dr. Sebastion Ghislain, Cowboy Ninja Viking is a hero in times of schizophrenic need. Dr. Ghislain is a psychotherapist who recruits Multiple Personality Disorder patients to create a group of counter-intelligence agents called the Triplets. The Triplets of course get out of hand, making Cowboy Ninja Viking a necessity to contain the threat.
The first book will be in stores October 7 for $3.50 and boasts a rather spiffy 24-page, full-color Golden Age format. AJ Lieberman is the writer with Riley Rossmo the artist.

But what happens when those guys become out of control assassins? That’s when the deadliest Triplet of them all, COWBOY NINJA VIKING, is called in to take down his own brethren.
