Storm Hawks appear in September

Personally, I've never heard of Storm Hawks, but don't hold that against them. The property is an anime that airs in Canada through YTV and in the US on Cartoon Network. It originally aired in 2007 and is in its second season now (not sure of the math there). For fans of the show, now you can check it out in a comic book. In July, the book was available for order through Diamond Comic Distributors and Haven Distributors. Because it was available for order in July, the book will actually hit stores in September. “We’re very excited see the adventures and the world of the Storm Hawks brought to life in print,” says Nerd Corps’ CEO Asaph Fipke. “DMF and Beach have done a great job capturing the action and humour of the show, as well as the unique art style, and we feel confident fans and newcomers alike will be drawn in.” That's not all. If you're a fan of the show and happen to be attending one of the following conventions, you'll get a chance to purchase a Special Edition Comic Book directly before everyone else. The conventions are Chicago Comic-Con (August 6-9) Toronto Fan Expo Canada (August 28-30) The Special Edition Comic Book will feature three Storm Hawks stories, including the origins of the Dark Ace. You'll also get tons of great pin-up art from folks such as Mike Kunkel (Hero Bear and the Kid), Sean ‘Cheeks’ Galloway (Spectacular Spider Man), Marcio Takara (The Incredibles), Sanford Greene (Marvel Adventures Spider-Man), Marcus To (Fathom), Randy Green (X-Men) and more.
