Bruce Campbell is Spider-man?

Not really. But you should know that if Bruce Campbell is to believed, his role in Spider-man 4 will be larger than it was in the past three movies. At the premier for Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Campbell told Access Hollywood that "in the next installment in the superhero franchise, he’s been told he has a major part – but didn’t yet know anything about his character." Cue the intrigue. Filming begins January 2010, and the villain(s) has yet to be announced for the upcoming fourth film. Mysterio has long been rumored to be the villain, and every one and their mother has indicated a desire to see Campbell in the role. He would definitely play the role awesomely, but nothing's confirmed at this point. Or, it could be something slightly less sinister. Since he's already played a ring manager, theater usher and restaurant maitre'd, the bar for "major bar" is pretty low.
