G-Man has been announced for a triumphant return next week (September 9 to be exact). However the multimedia push that accompanies comics this days is moving into full effect with this one in the name of a G-Man video game. And it's a sequel that creator Chris Giarrusso is really fond of called
G-Man Cape Crisis: Suntrooper Squadron.
"The original G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS video game had a game engine which allowed players to move both left and right," Giarrusso said. "With G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS: SUNTROOPER SQUADRON, players can now also move up and down, literally exploring every square inch of the screen. This radical shift in gameplay may be shocking at first, but that's what the evolution of classic old-school 8-bit style video gaming is all about."
G-Man: Cape Crisis: Suntrooper Squadron recreates the opening events of the G-Man: Cape Crisis #2 where Suntrooper faces an asteroid on a collision course with Earth. You (as a player) will be able to don the Suntrooper's solar suit and battle enemy asteroids and spacecraft.
The issue it's based on (G-Man: Cape Crisis #2) is due in stores next Wednesday (September 9) for $2.99, while the game is available now.
