Jim Lee Unites with Image

I (like so many other comic book fans) don't really believe that a reunion of the Image founders works as well when everyone isn't involved. Jim Lee was the one holdout and even up to San Diego Comic Con he joined the creative talent behind Image United, but left shortly thereafter. That was before things recently, as they say, "just got real." Lee is now on board. "Things just got real," IMAGE UNITED writer Robert Kirkman said. "Having all seven founders truly united propels the crossover to a whole new level. That's a commonly used phrase, but it's definitely the case here. This is exactly the moment fans have been hoping for and I'm very happy to say Jim delivered. That said, if you think this is cool, just wait for what happens next!" Lee will no doubtedly lend his WildC.A.T.S. likeness to the fray, joining the likes of Spawn, Savage Dragon and Witchblade just to name a few. Peep the full press release after the jump and mark November 25 down on your calendars for Image United #1.
