Michael Turner passed away last year from complications of cancer. He was known throughout the comic book industry for his awesome artwork, however, in the recent days up to his passing he was working primarily with Aspen Comics and
Fathom in particular.
He also did work for DC, and it's one of his drawings of Supergirl that DC is turning to for
Supergirl #50. The cover in question helped "modernize" Supergirl in relation to the new direction of the DC universe. Check out the cover above, and keep an eye out for the book when it hits stores.
