Stan Lee kicks off a very Marvel Christmas (Digitally)

It's that time of year again. The time when you add to your ever mounting debt stuff that you'll be giving away nearly as quickly as you bought it: Christmas. There are a myriad of options that you could give that comic book fan in your life (cape and cowl, ), but Marvel doesn't want you to forget that you could give them the gift of comics. Digital comics to be precise. And in an effort to better lure your dollars into their coffers, Marvel is offering a special four-part digital comics featuring the digital debut of Stan Lee. Lee will be writing a Fantastic Four tale with art by Nick Dragotta and is appropriately called the Marvel Digital Holiday Special: Rock of Ages. As we live in a PC world the story features The Thing teaching the family about Chanukah, a lesson learned that's even extended to the thugs on the street they come across. Throw in an art cameo by Jack Kirby and, well, you've got yourself a digital comic stew. Next week features Deadpool in the North Pole in Merry Freakin' Christmas (December 16), followed by the X-Men in X-Mas (December 23) and the Marvel Divas in Holiday Heat (December 29). I think it goes without saying you need to be a Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited subscriber to read these books, but in the meantime check out a couple of screens from the first after the jump.
