Time's 10 Best Comics of the Decade

It's that time of year, the end. This year is special in a sense that it's the year that caps the decade affectionately known as the "aughts." Expect to see a slew of "best of" lists, with Time bringing it with their Best Comics of the Decade. The list is not specific issues; rather, ten comic series that captured the heart of Techland (which is under Time). The full list is available after the jump... ...and here's the list. Ultimates 100 Bullets Planetary All-Star Superman The Walking Dead The Authority Mouseguard Blankets Invincible Y - The Last Man I'm not going to begin to debate the merits of why any of those titles should or shouldn't be on the list. Personally, I have no problem with the list at all because it really confirms some things we already know. Things such as Brian Michael Bendis as probably the comic book writer of the past few years, Y-The Last Man being a phenomenal series that is no more and Robert Kirkman is so good that he's got two series in the list. Without a doubt the list is up for debate. I'm not trying to detract from any of those works on the list as you could make a solid case meritorious of their position. But there probably a few other series that could just as easily be added to the list; one of the first that come to my mind would be Witchblade. Anyway check out the list, and feel free to sound off in the comments if you agree or disagree. Time's 10 Best Comics of the Decade

  1. A weak list
top heavy with DC (Time magazine owned) titles..

What about Paul Pope's Heavy Liquid, Batman Year 100?
Where is Darwyn Cooke's New Frontier?
Where is Superspy by Matt Kindt/
Where is Matt Fraction's Casanova Quinn?
Nothing from Molly Crabapple or Dash Shaw
nothing about the Iron Fist re-boot

Ultimates are ok but not the best of the decade-
    I can't even read Authority
All Star Superman is a nice inclusion, however
