I'm a big fan of Star Wars as the next guy. Typically though, I don't like to encourage anything that lines the pockets of George Lucas any more than necessary. I mean, the man has more ways to wring money from the Star Wars stone than anyone. I'm guessing he didn't have a personal say in this week's pick, but as the man that created the universe he's going to reap a profit. The pick this week happens to be Star Wars: Purge #0 - The Hidden Blade (One-Shot).

Written by Haden Blackman and illustrated by Chris Scaif, Star Wars: Purge #0 - The Hidden Blade (One-Shot) takes a look at everyone's favorite space samurai Darth Vader. Vader isn't too keen on an assignment that has him guarding an Imperial manufacturing facility from anti-Imperial natives. For someone such as Vader, this task is a little less than he signed on for, until he learns that a Jedi Master and his Padawan are siding with the natives. Now Vader gets to fight the Master and his Apprentice for the fun of it.
