Smallville Canceled After Next Season

All good things must come to that determined end, and Smallville will hit that wall after the tenth season. According to The Hollywood Life, Smallville star Tom Welling has said just that.

“Season 10 of Smallville will be the last season.”

Not really sure if you could possibly find some sort of vagueness in that statement, as it seems pretty cut and dried. If it is true, then it's still an end to what has to be considered an amazing run for the show on the CW with virtually no fanfare. I mean, Smallville is based on only one of the most iconic characters in comics in Superman and added that sort of teenage angst you would expect to find in Spider-man. Me personally, I've yet to watch the show. I honestly didn't think it would last past two or three seasons and then I planned to check it out after the fact. It just kept on going though and now it's on my Netflix queue to watch whenever I get a moment. Or ten seasons worth of moments.
