Next Gen Warz (Not Involving E3 2010)

Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony have successfully divided the gaming community into four parts. Three parts are each committed to one of the above consoles while the fourth is more forgiving and will gladly put an Xbox 360 right beside a PS3. Ryan Kinnaird has decided to take a stab at the so called "console wars" in his new comic Next Gen Warz.

"Next Gen Warz is a fun and satirical look at the world of video games," says Kinnaird. "From those who play them, to those who create them, and to those who make the machines the games are played on."

In the book, a hardcore gamer replaces his broken console while it's at the repair shop. (First of all, if there were a console repair shop I'm sure it would overrun with Xbox 360s). When he brings the fixed console back, it doesn't like being near a newer console, prompting the two female-embodied consoles to fight.

The book hits stores September 22, just in time for the holiday rush of video games. Full press release after the jump.
