Octopus Pie
Octopus Pie is an ongoing comic series about two women living in Brooklyn. Their jobs, social circles and, of course, problems. The series is written by Meredith Gran and her latest book Octopus Pie: There Are No Stars in Brooklyn was actually just released last Tuesday (June 22). What's even better is that she's doing a signing of the book...if you happen to be in MA.
On July 5 at New England Comics in Cambridge, MA, from 5 PM to 7 PM, Ms. Gran will be on hand to sign the aforementioned book. You can RSVP via her Facebook page if you're interested in attending.
