Whatever Happened to Baron Von Shock Hits Second Printing
Rob Zombie is one of those people that has pretty much transcended his career as a musician. He's gone on to be a filmmaker and overall storyteller, telling his latest story via Image Comic and Whatever Happened to Baron Von Shock. Seems you folks out there really liked it because it sold out within one week of print.
"What can I say?" asks Zombie. "It's awesome to hear that Baron Von Shock flew off the shelves. I love this book and I'm glad to hear that everyone else does, too."
The comic is actually a dramedy that outlines the rise and fall of celebrity. Baron Von Schock rises to fame as a television horror host and falls just as fast. There is the requisite "roller coaster ride of emotion" in the story as well, with Zombie's spin on it. The second printing is due in stores June 30, which also happens to be the same day that Whatever Happened to Baron Von Shock #2.
Full press release after the jump.
