Marian Churchland Returns to Elephantmen

Any work that can add a Russ Manning Award finalist to their stable of talent is only going to get better. Based on that, it should go without saying that Marian Churchland returning to Elephantmen with the one-shot Elephantmen, War Toys: Agathe this October 20.

Illustrated by Churchland and inked by Moritat the issue focuses on the French resistance fighter Yvette. She's recovered from her injuries in a small village in Norway, but the family taking care of her starts to wonder if they really should have saved her.

"I'm thrilled to have the chance to revisit one of ELEPHANTMEN's strongest characters, Yvette," says Churchland. "She's fierce, and she's formidable. Best of all, try as you might, she never relinquishes her inherent mystery."

Marian Churchland returns to ELEPHANTMEN for War Toys one-shot

Berkeley, CA - 13 July 2010 - Russ Manning Award finalist Marian Churchland is returning to ELEPHANTMEN this October with the one-shot ELEPHANTMEN, WAR TOYS: AGATHE. Image Comics will release the book, written and drawn by Churchland with inks by Moritat, on October 20, 2010.
