Felix the Cat's Greatest Comic Book Tails In Stores Now

I don't remember much about Felix the Cat, and that likely has more to do with my age than the character's longevity. His original arist, Otto Messmer, penned stories about Felix for Dell and Harvey during the Golden Age, but IDW is shooting to have them readable in a new age, as in now.

Felix the Cat's Greatest Comic Book Tails is now in stores and includes over two-hundred pages of Felix's magic carpet trips to surreal lands, time's past, and into Toy Land, as well as his hilarious domestic adventures, too. The book features a forward by Don Oriolo, the son of Joe Oriolo, who was the man who provided stories that ran alongside Messmer's. Comic Historian Craig Yoe sets the stage in his introduction with revealing behind-the-scenes insight complemented by rare original art and ephemera.

The 224-page hardcover measures 7" x 11" and is in stores now for $34.99.
