Normally, #615 of any comic is pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Sure, it's evidence of a long running comic, but other than that there's really not much else to the number.
Thor #615 bears more significance than your average #615, as it marks the debut of Matt Fraction, Pasqual Perry and Matt Hollingsworth on the series. With the start of their run, Asgard is restored to its glory and is once again the Golden Realm. That's all well and good, but it means no respite for Thor as he must continue to defende the Marvel Universe from a new destructive force.
