Preview - Green Hornet: Blood Ties #1

Personally, I can't say I'm too enthused about the upcoming Green Hornet movie. Not necessarily questioning the source material; rather, the new movie adapting it just looks like it'll be full of more bombast than story. Trepidation on my part about the movie shouldn't stop you from wanting to check out the upcoming Green Hornet: Blood Ties #1 from Dynamite.

The first issue features the last remains of the Italian Crime Family and the Japanese Yakuza. It's a precursor to Kevin Smith's Green Hornet and explains how Green Hornet and Kato brought about the fall of all crime in Century City. It's written by Ande Parks and features the art of Johnny Desjardings (cover by Ande Parks). The book should be available now. Interiors after the jump.
