Aspen Comics Solicitations May 2011


It's not May yet, but that shouldn't stop you from planning on what comics to get when that month arrives. There are three big ones they've got coming out, including Charismagic #3, Soulfire Vol. 3 #2 and Fathom Vol. 4 #1.

Charismagic #3 has Hank, Sudana and Sparkles arriving at the Los Angeles International Airport in desperate need of an airplane to Costa Rica. Meanwhile, Samsun is face to face with a coven of dark witches in New Orleans seeking to destroy the mighty wizard Kon. It's written by Vince Hernandez and illustrated by Khary Randolph (Emilio Lopez on colors) and is due in stores May 25th.

Soulfire Vol. 3 #2 features the shattered alliance between Rahtumi and the Sethoru and a fully powered Onyx leading the charge into the kingdom of Anantia. Meanwhile, Malikai and Paul discover more about each other in a Russian mining town as told by J.T. Krul and illustrated by Jason Fabok (John Starr on colors). The issue hits stores May 18 for $2.99.

Finally, Aspen Comics' own spokeswoman herself returns in Fathom Vol 4. #1 by Scott Lobdell and illustrated by Alex Konat (Beth Sotelo on colors). Aspen Matthews is back byt dealing with the fallout from Blue and Black being exposed to the rest of the world. The first issue of the new volume is being heralded as a good spot for new readers to jump in and learn more about Aspen and her world. May 18 for $2.99.
