Archaia May 2011 Solicitations


May is more than just the month that features Free Comic Book Day. It also has other stuff being released, including five books from Archaia. Those books? Read on.

Cyclops #5 by Matz and Jamin de Meyere starts "The Rebel" storyline. Douglas Pistoia is a soldier whose missions are broadcast and has made him a media star and his latest mission will expose his viewers to a deserted village on the border between Argentina and Chile that was the site of a methodical massacre. Feeding Ground #6 by Swifty Lang, Michale Lapinski and Chris Mangun is the conclusion to the story featuring spilled blood and vengeance. Flaca is forced to choose between her father and her dark benefactor Alejandro Blackwell.

The Secret History Book Seventeen by Jean-Pierre Pécau and Igor Kordey (colors by Leonard O' Grady and cover by Manchu and Olivier Vatine) takes place in 1956 in the Egyptian desert and Operation Kadesh. Curtis is seeking to avenge the death of his wife Nimue, the mother of Pandora, which puts him on the path towards facing off against General Nasser and the Condor. Berona's War Vol. 2: Fight for Amity is written and illustrated by Anthony Coffey and Jesse Labbé brings to life the warriors and races of Berona and takes you deep into their tales. In this incarnation readers will learn about the Condyle warriors and the Ele-Alta Slayers

Finally, Days Missing Vol. 2: Kestus Collected Edition Hardcover is by Phil Hester and David Marquez (cover by Alex Ross) and is the sequel to the original Days Missing. Steward is a mysterious being who can "fold" days of time which has lead to parts of human history to be erased. He's about to encounter another similar to him known as Kestus that throws everything he knows into question.
