New Batman: Arkham City Gameplay Trailer

I'm always leery of sequels to things that start as a one-off. Batman: Arkham Asylum was a game that still holds up as the definitive Batman game as well as a damn fine game in its own right. At first I wasn't too enthusiastic about the sequel, Batman: Arkham City, but after seeing the new gameplay trailer all those doubts have been thrown out the window.

After the jump is a brand new trailer that has a few highlights. It looks as if Catowoman will be more of a partner in the game as opposed to a villain and that Two-Face will play a prominent role alongside Dr. Strange. Not sure if I like Harley's new look, but she still wields a baseball bat against Batman's head so there's that. The new glide mechanic is there, as well as what appears to be slightly more nuanced combat and the improved Detective Mode. And then there's the surprise at the end (not really a big surprise, but I don't want to ruin it for those that want to be in the dark).
