Vampirella Starts New Chapter in June

The above is a cool illustration of Vampirella. It's not the cover for Vampirella #8, the new story arch starting this June for the famous female femme fatale. Writer Eric Trautmann will be joined by artist Fabiano Neves as the special artist for this story arc with covers by Jelena Kevic-Djurdjevic, Paul Renaud, Ale Garza and Neves. The story will take place on a lonely stretch of highway in the middle of nowhere with a trio of vicious creatures on a mission of murder and destruction. Of course, their freewheeling ways are looking to be stopped by Vampirella.

Additionally, Vampirella and the Scarlet Legion #2 will also make an appearance this summer, written by Joe Harris and art by José Málaga, with covers by Billy Tucci and Johnny D. Vampirella seeks comfort in the arms of Ethan Shroud, fighting the trio of Pendragon, Brittney and Scarlet Region in a race to get the next fragment of "The Crimson Codices." Finally, Vampirella Vol. 4: Visionaries TPB continues the collection of the very best of Vampirella. It includes "New European" by Alan Moore and Gary Frank, "Vampirella of Drakulon" by Forest Ackerman and Mark Texeira, "Looking for Mr. Goodwin" by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, "Sanctuary" by Christopher Priest and Alan Davis, "Lust for Life" by Ty Templeton and Bruce Timm, "The Killing Floor" by Steve Lieber, "Winter Rose" by Liam Sharp, "Matinee" by Michael Golden, "Fantasy Feast" by Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner, "Angel of Mercy" by Hester and Segovia, all joined by Kurt Busiek and Arthur Adams in a rare tale from the vault of Vampirella called "Bugs".
