Preview - Marksmen #1

Marksman as a profession is something that you can't really put on a resume. Namely because you'll likely be arrested. Or at least investigated. In Marksmen #1 it's more a badge of honor, considering the people live in a world where the oil has run out and New San Diego is one of the fiefdoms resulting from a new civil war. Drake McCoy is its best protector. McCoy's ability is the reason for the series' title, using marksmanship to protect the city until the oil rich Lone Star state sends an army to steal their technology.

Marksmen #1 is written by David Baxter and illustrated by Javier Aranda and Garry Leach (colors by Jessica Kholinne and cover by Tomm Coker). It hits stores July 20 and interiors are after the jump.
