New Arrivals: September 21, 2011

The world is rife with secret government organizations, working on all manner of special assignments. Some of these are transparent, whereas others a bit more clandestine. BPRD is one of those clandestine operations and is also the subject of a new comic due out this week in B.P.R.D.: Hell On Earth Russia #1.

Written by Mike Mignola and John Arcudi and featuring illustrations by Tyler Crook (colors by Dave Stewart and cover by Dave Johnson), the title features the group stumbling upon a graveyard of mutated horror inside a Russian mine. Liz is still missing and Abe Sapien is dying, sending semi-replacements Kate and Johann to meet the Russian equivalent of the Bureau.
