Raphael Gets a Microseries

It's not often that you see a "microseries" from a comic publisher. There's no doubt some nuanced difference between that and a "miniseries," but you're not here to learn vocabulary. You're here to learn that IDW is content with creating its own microseries in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Microseries #1: Raphael due in stores in November.

Written by Brian Lynch and illustrated by Franco Urru (covers by David Peterson and Urru), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Microseries #1: Raphael follows Raphael in his ongoing quest to discover his place in the world. Of course, his uncertainty is amplified upon meeting another mutant, the arctic fox Alopex. It's the classic team-up of outsiders that doesn't involve Kevin Nash or Scott Hall.

The book hits stores in November and even boasts a "Retro" variant edition by Kevin Eastman. Check out the full solicitation after the jump.
