Zeitgeist is the culmination of a culture at a specific point in time. It encapsulates everything about that time that made the time stand out. It's especially relevant when applied to a character such as Flash Gordon.

Flash Gordon: Zeitgeist #1 is a new issue featuring a story by Alex Ross as written by Eric Trautmann and illustrated by Daniel Lindro. The year is 1934, a time of two-fisted swashbuckling, of fearsome threats and wild adventure-and of ever-growing threats on the horizon. Three valiant humans -- Flash Gordon, Dale Arden and Dr. Hans Zarkov -- are plucked from the Earth, traveling to the distant planet Mongo.

The title features covers by Alex Ross, Paul Renaud, Francesco Francavilla and Wagner Reis.

Enjoy!
