Witch Doctor Getting Treated

When the Witch Doctor is in, you should make sure you're out. There's no telling what diagnosis the doctor will give you. There's also no telling what remedy will be prescribed. Thankfully, a Witch Doctor on paper is a lot more acceptable than one in real life.

Witch Doctor Vol. 1: Under the Knife is the graphic novel treatment that includes the first four issues of the series, plus a zero issue and an introduction by Robert Kirkman.

"We hoped people would enjoy WITCH DOCTOR — but Lukas and I weren't prepared for just how well it's gone over!" said Seifert. "We've gotten a massive amount of love from readers, and a whole lot of praise from retailers and the press. It's very humbling how much people like our weird little medical horror comic!"

The sardonic Dr. Morrow, is looking for a vaccine for the apocalypse. In his quest to understand the biology of the supernatural, he faces vampires, demonic possession, faeries and more.

Witch Doctor, Vol. 1: Under the Knife is a 112-page full-color medical horror trade paperback for $12.99 due in stores December 14. This is in addition to the Witch Doctor: The Resuscitation one-shot in stores December 21.

Full press release after the jump.
