Aspen Solicitations February 2012

Shrugged (Vol. 2) #0 is written by Frank Mastromauro and illustrated by Micah Gunnell and Kelsey Shannon. The debut zero issue sets the stage for the premiere of the first issue that's the unique tale of the human intellect, the hearts desires and the reason behind your every decision. The issue hits stores February 1.

Dead Man's Run #2 is written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Tony Parker, Sam Tinker is plotting an escape from Hell by pulling together a team of its worst inmates. The title shows how far a good man will go to save his innocent sister and hits stores February 15.

Broken Pieces #3 is a new original series from Aspen by Mark Roslan and illustrated by Micah Kaneshiro. In a situation mimicking the title, the broken pieces of Dr. Richard Adam's present begin to come together and look very similar to the horrific conditions of the world outside of Trinion's control. Broken Pieces #3 hits stores February 8.

If you want something a little creepier, then how about Haunted City #4 by Chip Taylor and Peter Johnson and illustrated by Michael Ryan? Tom and his team are fighting for their lives against an all-encompassing evil leading to a battle against a resurrected 19th-century gangsters from the Stygian depths of Manhattan Island. The weird tale of New York City will be available February 29.

Fathom Vol. 4 #5 is Aspen's flagship character and features the writings of Scott Lobdell and Alex Konat and illustrated by Beth Sotelo. Aspen Matthews stands alone against the mysterious Church of the Eternal Depths with her new alley Galit. Their mission is to destroy the undersea order at its source of ancient factions within the Japanese government. February 22 is the day where Aspen fans get to see her get real.

Finally, Soulfire Vol. 3 #8 is written by J.T. Krul, illustrated by Jason Fabok and colored by John Starr. It also hits stores February 22 and puts Malikai in front of a startling revelation amidst the war between Sethoru and Rahtumi. That revelation has him confronting himself and concludes the third volume of Soulfire.
