Alice in Wonderland #1 Sells Out

Readers like their Zenescope twist on fairy tales. So much so that Alice in Wonderland #1 has sold out. It's sold out through both Diamond Comic Distributors and the 19,000 initial printing on the first day of release.

"To sell out of a large print run this quickly is stunning.” said Zenescope Editor-in-Chief Ralph Tedesco. “It’s a great feeling to have such a loyal and continually growing fan base that responds so well to our re-imagining of Wonderland. The good news is that there’s more of it to come.”

Alice Liddle is back on her insanity-filled journeys through Wonderland. It's the latest in Zenescope's multiple returns to the classic tale. It's written by Raven Gregory and illustrated by Robert Gill and Jason Embury. The first issue features cover art by Artgerm, Ebas and Nei Ruffino.

At this time there are no plans to do a second printing of the book but Zenescope has made the comic book available for digital download immediately through the Comixology and Zenescope Apps and can be purchased there.

"We’ve been planning to tell this story for a long time and it seems that our fans have been patiently waiting for it. It’s awesome to see this kind of response”, says series writer Raven Gregory.
